How to reduce the clutter at home?

One of the best way to get rid of clutter is to donate your unused items, especially your children's clothing. Unless you are trying to have another child, you should consider giving up on your three- to four-year old son or daughter's baby clothing to the not-for-profit organization such as the Central Florida Children's Home, The Harbor House of Central Florida, your local Salvation Army or your local homeless shelter. These are centers that offer help to our people who are in need at the moment.

As a clothing donor, one could get many benefits from this experience. One can have the satisfaction of knowing that somebody else will give it a great use, one gets a tax write-off, and the satisfaction of having a clear, spacious home. Where else can you get a win-win situation like that?

If you are interested you should check them out:
Harbor House at www.harborhousefl.com
Central Florida Children's Home at www.cfch.net
and find your local Salvation Army at www.salvationarmyusa.org

Thank you in advance for your donations!

What is the most important aspect of one's life?

I always ask myself that question. The most important aspects of my life are my spirituality, my family, my friends, my experiences, my community, and the environment. I love to feel close to God whether is spending time playing outside with my son, Anakin; laughing with my husband, Patrick; or just meditating. I actually feel that I experience God many times during the day. I love to smell the flowers. I know it is a cliche, but when one actually stops to smell the flowers, life seems in natural order. I went today to the Millennium Mall in Orlando, Florida. I saw some beautiful little white flowers, and I stopped to smell them...hmmmm. What a treat! This encounter with these flowers made me think about the environment.
I always ask myself how can I enhance my son's life by protecting the environment? I do my part by following the simple rules of "reduce, reuse, recycle" as in "The 3R" song by Jack Johnson. I'm satisfied that my son loves that song, and he actually helps me recycling in my home. He is my little tape recorder repeating those words: reduce, reuse, recycle.
I'm doing my part by providing my child with the tools necessary for him to understand that we are all responsible for what happens in our household, in our community, in our environment, and in our planet. He is learning through my example how he can help protect the environment. I enjoy watching my son playing outside, climbing a tree, running or riding his bicycle, and smelling the flowers. That is the most important in part of my life.
